WNAM REPORT: A meeting was recently held between the leadership of the Uzeltechsanoat Association and representatives of Sun-Hightech, together with a delegation from China’s Envision Group.
According to the Association’s press service, the discussions focused on the localization of lithium-ion battery production required for Energy Storage Systems (BESS), the transfer of relevant technologies, and the establishment of joint manufacturing operations in Uzbekistan.
During the talks, both parties noted the high demand for this type of energy storage system in Uzbekistan, discussed the technical requirements of current projects, and explored the market’s potential.
The foreign guests were provided with detailed information on Uzbekistan’s investment climate, scientific and technological capabilities, and the availability of highly qualified specialists.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen and expand their cooperation.
