WNAM REPORT: The Turkmenistan pavilion at the World Expo 2025 in the Japanese city of Osaka has received its millionth visitor.
“1,000,000 visitors – Thank you, Japan! Today we have reached an incredible milestone – 1 million guests, welcomed with tradition, hospitality and culture. This moment reminds us of the power of human connections. We look forward to welcoming many more!” – the organizers of the exhibition said in a statement.
The Turkmenistan Pavilion was built by the Turkmen architectural and construction company HO “Belli”. The architectural concept of the three-story building organically combines the rich cultural heritage of Turkmenistan with modern technological solutions.
The first floor is an immersive space with a large spherical screen and a multimedia installation for a virtual journey around Turkmenistan. Visitors get acquainted with the nature, history and culture of the country through new-generation audiovisual effects.
The second floor presents industry achievements in energy, industry, healthcare, education, sports and science. The central place is occupied by an exposition of medicinal plants, reflecting the traditions of Turkmen medicine.
The third floor functions as a cultural center with authentic Turkmen carpets, examples of traditional embroidery, museum artifacts and elements of decorative and applied art. There is also a national restaurant with dishes of Turkmen cuisine.
