WNAM REPORT: Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the CIS Nazarguly Shagulyev took part in the opening of the photo exhibition “Remembering the Past, Creating the Future” at the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War.
The large-scale photo exhibition is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggressors and the World Anti-Fascist War. It was organized by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus and the Chinese News Agency “Xinhua”.The opening ceremony was attended by the First Deputy Secretary General of the Commonwealth of Independent States and members of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the Commonwealth Member States to the statutory and other bodies of the CIS, representatives of government bodies of Belarus, public organizations, the foreign diplomatic corps, youth, and the creative intelligentsia.The exhibition features 70 valuable historical and contemporary photographs from the Xinhua Archives and the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Museum, which reflect the enormous contribution of the Chinese nation to the victory in the World Anti-Fascist War.
