WNAM MONIORING: At the invitation of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Turkmenistan on August 22 to participate in the trilateral summit in the format “Azerbaijan – Turkmenistan – Uzbekistan”.
According to the agenda of the event, which will take place in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, issues of developing and deepening multilateral cooperation will be considered, primarily in trade and economic, transport and communications, energy, and humanitarian spheres. The signing of several joint documents is expected.
The President of Uzbekistan will also hold bilateral talks on the sidelines of the summit.
