The Iranian President conveyed Iran’s solidarity with the government and people of Pakistan in this difficult time, reaffirming Iran’s readiness to provide any necessary assistance to support flood relief efforts.
Prime Minister Sharif appreciated President Pezeshkian’s gesture, terming it a reflection of the deep fraternal ties between the two nations. He also requested that his warm regards and good wishes be conveyed to the Supreme Leader Ayatullah Ali Khamenei.
The floods have caused widespread destruction in Pakistan, with nearly 66 villages inundated in Gujrat and thousands of acres of crops damaged. The situation remains critical, with authorities working tirelessly to evacuate affected residents and provide relief supplies.
