Jakarta ( WNAM MONITORING): The Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is facilitating MSMEs in the housing sector to access financing through the Funding-Worthy Businesses (Bislaf) program.

This initiative is an effort to bridge MSMEs’ financing needs with funding opportunities from financial institutions and investors, while also supporting the government’s three-million-house program.

At the Bislaf Intimate Business Matching event in Bogor, West Java, on Thursday, the ministry’s Deputy of Small Enterprises, Temmy Satya Permana, underscored that MSMEs have a key role in house construction.

“We are seeking to realize an ecosystem that can improve their business capacity so they are ready to participate in the construction of three million houses,” he said in the ministry’s statement.

According to data from the Ministry of MSMEs, there are around 104 thousand MSMEs operating in the housing ecosystems, with 35 thousand of them in construction services, and nearly 70 thousand serving as construction materials providers.

These MSMEs, he said, are still facing challenges, especially in financing access. To this end, Bislaf is expected to serve as a bridge between MSMEs’ needs and funding opportunities from various sources, including financial institutions, investors, and government programs.

The government has readied various supporting policies, such as the liquidity financing facility for housing (FLPP) for 350 thousand subsidized houses and self-help housing stimulus assistance (BSPS) for 38 thousand houses.

In addition, there are also tax incentives on value-added tax borne by the government (PPN DTP) and credit allocation for housing programs worth Rp130 trillion (around US$7.9 billion) with subsidized interest.

On the same occasion, the Assistant Deputy for Financing and Investment of Small Enterprises, Ali Manshur, explained that the Intimate Business Matching is the pinnacle of a series of bootcamps that have been held since June 2025.

In the event, 16 selected MSMEs participated in pitching and pitch deck making mentoring sessions, as well as one-on-one sessions with financing institutions.

He expressed hope that the event could help MSMEs enhance their business planning quality and get access to financing to support their business growth.
