WNAM MONITORING: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Stefano Pontecorvo, CEO of Leonardo S.p.A., during his official visit to Italy.
The meeting emphasized that the talks held during the visit would provide a solid foundation for further deepening and expanding effective business cooperation between the two countries.
Particular attention was given to strengthening trade and economic ties. Productive contacts between Turkmenistan and Italian companies have already demonstrated strong potential for implementing joint projects in strategically important sectors such as energy, transport, agriculture, and high technology and innovation.
Expressing sincere gratitude to the Turkmen leader for the fruitful meeting, Mr. Pontecorvo assured that his company would continue to fulfill its contractual commitments with a high sense of responsibility.
At the conclusion of the meeting, President Berdimuhamedov and Mr. Pontecorvo reaffirmed their readiness to further enhance business relations between Turkmenistan and the renowned Italian company on a long-term and mutually beneficial basis.
