WNAM REPORT: The National Investment Agency signed a Stabilization Regime for the construction of a solar power plant in the Ak-Kuduk village of Naryn region.
The event was attended by Deputy Head of the Agency Meerimbek Koichumanov, representatives of the companies “Solar Systems” and “AST Imperial”.
The project involves the construction of a solar power plant in the Ak-Kuduk village of Kochkor district. The plant’s capacity will be 325 MW, and the amount of preliminary investment is estimated at 200 million US dollars.
This regime guarantees that the legal and economic conditions for investors will remain unchanged during the project implementation period. This step will reduce risks and ensure the safety of large capital.
Significance for the country: The share of renewable energy sources will increase and the transition to clean energy will accelerate. Large capital will come to the Naryn region, improving the socio-economic situation of the region. New jobs will be created for the local population during the construction and operation stages of the plant.
