Right from day one after the creation of Pakistan , Afghanistan has been acting on a foreign policy which suits political interests of India. Kabul has been ruled by monarchs,communists and Islamists turn by turn during this period but insofar its policy vis a vis Pakistan was concerned it always remained the same.
Those Afghanis who find fault with Durand line conveniently forget that time was when Hindu King Chander Gupta Moriah ruled Afghanistan also and entire Afghanistan was a part of his empire. Would the Kabul rulers accept if some Hindus start laying claim of ownership of entire Afghanistan on the strength that it was once a part and parcel of Maurya dynasty and what would be the stand of New Delhi if China refuses to accept Mcmohan line as its boundary with India on the plea that it was wrongly drawn by the Brits?
