President lays flowers at the Independence Monument

WNAM REPORT: President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Yangi O‘zbekiston (New Uzbekistan) Park and laid a wreath at the Independence Monument.

This magnificent complex reflects our people’s centuries-long history, depicting great scholars and renowned military commanders of the past, as well as significant events in the country’s development. The Humo bird atop the monument symbolizes the ideals of freedom and goodness, as well as the noble dreams and aspirations of our people.The ceremony, held to mark the 35th anniversary of our Motherland’s independence, was attended by representatives of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the Presidential Administration, and the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as members of the public in Tashkent.
