WNAM MONITORING: National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will give a general lesson to Turkmen youths, students and schoolchildren on September 2 at the Ruhyyet Palace in Arkadag city. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov reported Friday during a Cabinet meeting held via videoconference, according to Turkmen state media.
The President also stressed that new building complexes of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Cosntruction in Ashgabat and the Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute in Turkmenabat, as well as several schools and kindergartens across Turkmenistan, will be ceremonially opened on September 1 to mark Day of Knowledge and Student Youth.
The Head of state instructed relevant officials to organize events at higher education institutions on September 1 as part of Knowledge and Students’ Day celebrations in Turkmenistan.
“We will continue our work to develop the education system and provide the younger generation with modern education,” President Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlighted, congratulating meeting participants, education workers and young people on Knowledge and Students’ Day and the start of the new academic year.
