It goes without saying that most of the material churned out on social media is a trash which leaves much to be desired. Some seasoned journalists are being bankrolled by interested quarters for character assassination of some state institutions. There is no gainsaying the fact that unfettered freedom of social media has been instrumental in spreading lewdness and obscenity also in the society. That is the prime reason why many countries have banned sale of mobile sets to persons below the age of sixteen.
