Syed Mazhar Ali shah

It was unbecoming of KPK Chief Minister to tell people to break the skull of those government officials who demand bribe from them in turn for extending any favour to them. Such a rash and irresponsible public statement made under the glare of TV camera would only spread anarchy in the province If the commoners are to indulge in punishing the criminals then what is the police for?

Why then court rooms shouldn’t be shut down? If the objective of the Chief Minister was to forewarn the criminals, surely, there were better ways of doing it.

Small wonder his statement has come under scathing criticism from the sober element of the society who don’t expect the chief executive of a province to behave like Sultan Rahi of Panjabi films.
