WNAM MONITORING: Uzbekistan – China trade, economic, investment and tourism forum was organized at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Beijing, as part of the visit to China of a delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Ilzat Qosimov.
The participants were familiarized with the development of Khorezm region, its potential and investment opportunities. Chinese companies were invited to widely use the advantages of free economic and industrial zones of Khorezm region to implement new investment projects.
Mr. Jiang Yun, Secretary General of the China Overseas Development Association, noted that cooperation between the business circles of the two countries is enhancing, and the interest of Chinese companies in Uzbekistan’s market is increasing.
Representatives of the region answered questions from Chinese businesspeople. B2B and G2B meetings were held between business representatives of Uzbekistan and China.
Agreements were reached on the implementation of mutually beneficial projects in various fields. Documents on establishing a partnership were signed.
