Tashkent: President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a phone conversation with President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
The leaders discussed current issues of bilateral interaction, including the ongoing implementation of agreements reached during the recent visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Moscow.
According to the press service of the President of Uzbekistan, the leaders of the two countries noted with satisfaction the consistent strengthening of Uzbek-Russian relations within the framework of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance, as well as the expansion of multi-faceted cooperation.
The dynamics of growth in mutual trade turnover indicators is maintained, cooperation projects in various sectors of the economy are being implemented, and fruitful interregional contacts are developing. A large joint agro-logistics complex was launched in Jizzakh region the day before.
The heads of Uzbekistan and Russia also welcomed active cultural and humanitarian exchange and implemented programs in the field of healthcare.
