WNAM MONITORING: Saudi Arabia donated 25 tons of dates to Turkmenistan. The batch of the fruit, sacred in Islam, was donated by the King Salman Center for Support and Humanitarian Aid.
The solemn handover ceremony was held at the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Ashgabat. The received dates will be distributed among mosques and Muslim communities in Turkmenistan.
Within the framework of the event, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Said Osman Ahmed Suweid, met with a representative of the Office of the Mufti of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the Turkmen side expressed sincere gratitude for this generous gift, symbolizing the strong bonds of friendship between the two countries.
