WEB DESK: Uzbekistan delegation led by Jamshid Abdusalomov, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Tourism under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of Uzbekistan, held talks with Vera Scherbina, First Vice Governor and Chairperson of the Government of Primorsky Krai, Russia.
The parties discussed developing and deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in tourism, increasing the tourist flow, and establishing an exchange of experience in developing tourism infrastructure.
One of the important topics of dialogue was the possibility of opening new tourism destinations, personnel exchange, improving transport links between regions, and, in particular, increasing the number of flights. The delegates also discussed promoting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential in the Russian Far East.
“Few people in the Primorsky Krai are aware of the tourist attractiveness of Uzbekistan yet. In turn, we will make every effort to promote the country’s tourism potential in the region and increase the mutual tourist flow”, Vera Scherbina said.
