WNAM REPORT: TV journalists from the Malaysian RTM TV channel shot a documentary about the potential of pilgrimage tourism in the ancient and eternal city of Bukhara.
The film widely promotes Uzbekistan’s tourism potential abroad and increases the flow of tourists from Malaysia.The film tells about Bahouddin Naqshband, Ismail Somoni, the Ark Fortress, a “master-apprentice” miniature workshop, and sacred places of worship.
This documentary consists of 10 parts, of which we dedicated two parts to Bukhara, – says Ahmad Faisal bin Muhammad, RTM TV channel’s producer. – We know that Bukhara is an “Islamic Kaaba”, I think that when this film is shown in the month of Ramadan, Malaysian audience will enjoy it.
The project is being implemented by the Tourism Committee under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change.
