WNAM REPORT: Uzbekneftegaz JSC is implementing several cooperation projects with the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) to ensure stable natural gas production and more efficient process organization.
According to the Uzbekneftegaz JSC, this cooperation includes increasing gas production volumes and introducing advanced technologies into the country’s oil and gas industry.
“CNPC delegation recently visited Uzbekistan. During the talks, ideas were exchanged with specialists of Uzbekneftegaz JSC on the development and practical application of new projects and technologies. The delegation members also visited the Mubarek and Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Departments and got acquainted with the production process. Of course, establishing cooperation is important in developing this sector”, the Head of the Press Service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC Mr. Ibodov said.
In the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department, the delegation inspected the Denizkul gas pretreatment unit and compressor station. In the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department, primary treatment units and a compressor station were inspected at gas collection site No. 20. At these facilities, much attention was paid to increasing the efficiency of gas production through the introduction of electronic systems for rapid information exchange.
Following the meeting, the parties defined specific plans for implementing new joint projects.
