Tashkent ( WNAM MONITORING ): The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has arrived on an official visit to Brussels.
At the international airport of the Belgian capital, the head of the Uzbekistani state was met by the European Union’s Special Representative for Central Asia, Eduards Stiprais, and other officials.
On October 24, the President of Uzbekistan will hold talks with the President of the European Council, António Costa, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and will also meet with the King of the Belgians, Philippe.
The country’s leader will take part in the signing ceremony of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the European Union.
Furthermore, the visit’s program includes a roundtable discussion with representatives of leading European companies and financial institutions.
