WNAM MONITORING: In September 2024, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy transported 1.1 million tons of grain of the new harvest, of which 867 thousand tons were sent for export, Kazinform News Agency learned from the company’s press service.
457 thousand tons were exported to the Central Asian countries, 187 thousand – to China, and 140 tons were exported to Iran through the Aktau Port.
In October, the company plans to transport 1.3 million tons of grain cargo.
From January to September 2014, 6.6 million tons of grain were transported, including 5.5 million tons for export, the company adds.
