TEHRAN ( WNAM MONITORING): An official with Imam Khomeini Airport City Company( IKAC Co.) in Tehran says that direct flights between Vienna and Tehran will resume Monday, adding that European airliners such as Lufthansa are returning to Iran.
Ramin Kashefazar, caretaker chairman of the IKAC Co. told local Iranian media Austrian airliner operating on the Vienna-Tehran-Vienna route are resuming flights on Monday morning (November 2).
The Iranian aviation official added that Lufthansa flights on the Tehran-Frankfurt route will resume within the next two months.
Kashefazar added that the European companies are seeking to return to Iran, which will be announced as soon as their return and operation is finalized.
