WNAM REPORT: The Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan announced the launch of a unique railway tour “Silk Road”, which will begin running between the two countries from November 16. The four-day route runs through Almaty, Turkestan and Tashkent, allowing travelers to get acquainted with the rich historical and cultural heritage of the two countries.
The tour program includes a visit to the region’s iconic landmarks. In Kazakhstan, tourists will be able to see the ancient Arystan Baba mausoleum, get acquainted with the exposition of the Azret Sultan Museum-Reserve, and appreciate the scale of the innovative tourist complex Caravanserai. The Tashkent part of the route will present guests with a harmonious combination of historical heritage and modern urban architecture of the capital of Uzbekistan.
The organizers have provided a full range of services for a comfortable trip, including professional guide support, three meals a day, transfers and tickets to all tourist sites along the route.
According to the Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Yerkinbayev, the new railway tour will become an important element in the development of regional tourism and will serve to strengthen the cultural dialogue between the countries.
