This year, the celebration is dedicated to the 110th anniversary of Kazakh cinematography giant Shaken Aimanov and the 90th anniversary KazakhFilm studio. This is of great symbolic importance. Cinematography calls on the public to be creative, instilling best qualities and a high culture in the entire nation. It also strengthens cultural ties among different ethnic groups,” reads the letter.
