ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT): First direct flight Tashkent -Lahore landed on Friday and was warmly welcomed by Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, Alisher Tukhtayev along with local industrialists and business leaders at Allama Iqbal International Airport .
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Alisher Tukhtayev termed the milestone development as an added opportunity to strengthen economic, cultural and tourism ties between the two countries.
He gave the entire credit to President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev for the resumption of the operation which is testament of friendship and cooperation taking the existing relations to a new levels.
He expressed the hope that the operation will further strengthen the economic, trade, cultural and people-to-people ties between the two countries.
