Pakistan achieved notable economic progress: Finance Minister

ISLAMABAD( WNAM REPORT):  Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said the country has made significant progress on the economic front over the past year.
Addressing Pakistan Mortgage Refinance Company conference, he highlighted the stability of the currency and increase in foreign exchange reserves. He noted that foreign exchange reserves now cover two and a half months of imports. Additionally, inflation has decreased to 4.9 percent.
The Finance Minister also assured full support for the private sector in the development of the housing sector. He emphasized that housing is a critical pillar of inclusiveness and stressed the need to simplify procedures for house financing.
