The Chief Minister of Panjab has been quite proactive in launching poorly friendly developmental projects in her province right from day one after she took oath of her office but now she has stepped in the domain of foreign affairs too when she led an official delegation to Beijing the other day. She seems to be a go-getter Prima facie the developmental projects launched by the Panjab government in various sectors of life seem to be common man-oriented. It is now for those associated with investigative journalism to dig deep into them and lay bare the true facts and let the common man know to what extent these developmental projects are going to help assist the common man.

Those rulers of other countries who are running their countries through brawn should draw lesson from the fate of Syrian President Basharal Asad who was overthrown by rebels the other day and who had to flee his country to save his life. Somebody has rightly said those who live by the sword die by the sword. The fate of many dictators who were ousted by their people because they had trampled their basic human rights was before him but the Syrian President like the Bourbons had learnt nothing and forgotten nothing so agony of the middle east continues to live on.
As long as some super powers continue to fish in its troubled waters people Middle eastern countries, inhabitants of the oldest piece of land in the world won’t heave a sigh of relief.
