ISLAMABAD ( WNAM MONITORING): Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan emphasized the importance of national stability and collective responsibility during his address at the Foundation Day celebration of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). The event, held at the Central PML-N Secretariat in Chak Shehzad, Islamabad, witnessed a large gathering of political leaders and workers, including prominent figures such as Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Raja Khurram Nawaz.

Highlighting PML-N’s commitment, Jam Kamal stated, “The party took the risk of forming a government in challenging circumstances, sacrificing its political advantage for the greater good of the country.” He stressed the need to prioritize national stability over political unrest, urging all stakeholders to work towards a unified and prosperous Pakistan.

Addressing the opposition, Jam Kamal called for constructive dialogue within Parliament rather than street protests. “Go and ask the people of Gaza and Syria the value of their own country. We must show a sense of responsibility,” he remarked, emphasizing the importance of preserving Pakistan’s stability and progress.

The minister lauded Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s dedication and leadership during difficult times. “I have never seen such a hardworking leader in my life,” he said, adding, “If anyone else were in his place, they could not have stabilized the country’s economy.” He credited the Prime Minister’s hands-on approach, which has helped attract foreign investment, lower interest rates, reduce inflation, and boost exports.

“Every challenge is taken as an opportunity by the Prime Minister. His micro-level involvement is necessary given the state of affairs he inherited,” Jam Kamal explained, urging political parties to acknowledge the government’s efforts and work collectively to bring the nation out of crisis.

In his concluding remarks, Jam Kamal appealed for unity, calling on all political parties to set aside differences for the country’s sake. “We all made mistakes in the past, but now is the time to think about the present collectively,” he said. He urged the opposition to fulfill its role responsibly and join hands with the government in addressing the nation’s challenges.

The event at the Central Secretariat in Chak Shehzad showcased the PML-N’s commitment to steering Pakistan toward stability and prosperity, with a renewed call for political consensus and national unity.
