President Trump’s decision to make public all official documents relating to murder of a former American President John F Kennedy is a step in the right direction.
It is a pity that no body knows up till now the hidden hand responsible for his murder. It is generally held that during his stint in office White House was frequented by ladies of easy virtue and the American intelligence agencies were afraid that they might be used by enemy countries of the US in obtaining secret information which is vital for security of America. They tried to persuade him to desist from entertaining those women but in vain and it were they who conspired to put an end to his life.
In Pakistan too many such high profile murders of politicians had taken place which are still shrouded in mystery with the result that many political observers have been indulging in kite flying about them. For instance there is an allegation of delayed medical assistance to the founder of the nation in his final hours of life, murder of its first prime minister Liaqat Ali Khan, suspicious way of death of Fatima Jinnah, to mention a few.
We have heard from our grey bearded elders that the founder of our nation had once said I know there are many fake coins in my pocket. Who knows these fake coins might have conspired to get rid of these two personalities in the early stages of creation of this country in order to do what they did with this country after they joined the great majority. It won’t be a bad idea if for searching the truth behind their demise a thorough probe is done now. Better late than never.
