ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT): Chairperson BISP congratulates Shaheen Khalid Butt on assuming the post of MD Bait-ul-Mal and discusses issues of mutual cooperation between BISP and Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal for data sharing, skill training of deserving individuals under the Benazir Hunarmand Program, and various welfare initiatives.
Chairperson Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, today met MD Bait-ul-Mal, Senator Captain Shaheen Khalid Butt, in his office. During the meeting, Chairperson BISP congratulated Senator Captain Shaheen Khalid Butt on assuming the post of MD Bait-ul-Mal. The discussion focused on ways to enhance cooperation between BISP and Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal in various fields, as well as measures for the welfare of deserving individuals.
Senator Rubina Khalid stated that BISP is launching Benazir Hunarmand program to provide global employment opportunities to deserving individuals. She emphasized that, in light of the increasing demand for skilled labor in the global market, certified training is necessary for these individuals to secure employment internationally. Senator Rubina Khalid further highlighted the importance of skill training for the deserving to graduate from poverty and achieve economic independence, explaining that this training would not only help the needy create new employment opportunities for themselves but also enable them to contribute to the country’s economy.
Both leaders also discussed the importance of NSER data sharing. Senator Rubina Khalid stressed that data sharing between BISP and Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal would provide better information about deserving individuals, which is essential for the success of future collaborations and projects. MD Bait-ul-Mal, Senator Captain Shaheen Khalid Butt, assured Senator Rubina Khalid that Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal is committed to working with BISP for the socio-economic upliftment of disadvantaged communities and will make every possible effort to further strengthen this cooperation in the future.
