Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Bahrain celebrated 85th National Day of Pakistan at Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel in Manama. H.E. Khaled Yousef Al Jalahma, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affair graced the occasion as chief guest.
His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain graciously sent a congratulatory message to the Embassy of Pakistan in Bahrain.
Addressing the participants of the diplomatic reception, the Ambassador, highlighted the significance of the Day and stressed upon peaceful coexistence as one of country’s foreign policy objective. He underlined that long-festering issues, especially the Kashmir and Palestine issues, need early, just and peaceful solutions in accordance with international law.
Participants of the reception included Deputy Speaker of Bahraini Council of Representatives, members of parliament, heads of Bahraini institutions, the Commander of the Combined Maritime Force, military leadership, Ambassadors of the diplomatic corps, leading businessmen from Bahrain and members of Pakistani community. Participants, more than 400 in number, showed their keen interest in Pakistan’s scenic beauty, cultural richness and historical legacy.
