WNAM MONITORING: Ashgabat hosted the International Trade and Services Exhibition, bringing together over 350 representatives from more than 30 countries. The employees of the diplomatic corps, as well as local and foreign companies, attended the event.
Uzbekistan presented its products under the national brand Made in Uzbekistan, demonstrating a wide range of competitive and high-quality products. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Turkmenistan supported the country’s participation in the exhibition.
The national exposition included more than 10 export companies led by the Chairman of the Association of Exporters of Uzbekistan, Yorqin Malikov. The stands aroused great interest among visitors, including representatives of the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as local and foreign entrepreneurs. Special attention was paid to the quality and modern design of the presented products.
Several meetings and negotiations were held during the event’s business program. The leadership of the Association of Exporters of Uzbekistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan discussed the prospects for expanding bilateral trade, organizing joint business forums, and concluding cooperation agreements.
Industry negotiations were also held: Pakhtamash and Turkmanpakhta considered the possibilities of supplying equipment for the cotton industry, and representatives of KCT and ALFA LINE discussed possible cooperation with Turkmenhimiya state concern in trade in chemical products.
