WNAM MONITORING: The Textile Expo Uzbekistan 2025 will be held from May 14 to 16 this year at the Uzexpocentre National Exhibition Complex.

Aziza Alimova, Project Director of the Iteca Exhibitions, spoke  about the organizational aspects of the exhibition and the expected outcomes:

– It is worth noting that Uzbekistan’s textile industry is one of the strategic sectors of the national economy. The country has significant potential for processing raw cotton. In recent years, large-scale reforms have been implemented in this sector to increase deep processing volumes, boost export capacity, and create new jobs. Local manufacturers are gaining a foothold in the domestic market and international trading platforms.

At the same time, priority is being given to introducing advanced technologies in textile enterprises, transitioning to environmentally friendly production, and manufacturing products that meet international standards. In particular, implementing the cluster system has made it possible to integrate all stages of textile production into a single chain. This enhances the industry’s competitiveness and positions Uzbekistan as one of the region’s textile hubs.

As for the Textile Expo Uzbekistan, which is held twice a year, it has become one of the key business events for industry representatives. We place special emphasis on fostering strong partnerships between local and international companies.

The event offers participants from various countries the opportunity to showcase their products and services and exchange professional experience. More than 130 companies from seven countries are expected to participate this year. Enterprises from Belarus, India, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Türkiye, China, and Uzbekistan will present new products and technologies. Collective participation from Turkish accessory manufacturers and Chinese companies has also been confirmed.

The exhibition covers all stages of the production process – from raw materials to finished goods. In addition, the exhibition’s Buyer Program will serve as an effective bridge between manufacturers and professional buyers.

Textile Expo Uzbekistan is a unique platform that helps establish direct business contacts, find reliable partners, and open new avenues for business development. It presents an opportunity for local and international companies to expand their sales geography and strengthen their market positions.
