WNAM MONITORING; World leaders have extended congratulations to Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, as reported by Turkmenistan’s official media on Thursday.
Congratulations to Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov were sent by: Russian President Vladimir Putin, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, and Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Board Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
In their letters, the leaders expressed gratitude to veterans and wartime workers, wished peace, prosperity, and success to Turkmenistan, and emphasized the importance of preserving the historical memory of the Great Victory.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, also congratulated the President on the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov will also participate in events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War on May 9 in Moscow.
