WNAM MONITORING; A new park named Shapak opened its doors in the Choganly residential area of Bagtyyarlyk district in Ashgabat ahead of City Day celebrations, as reported by Turkmenistan’s news agency on Friday.
The green space was a gift to the city’s residents and a new feature to the capital’s urban development.
The park’s opening was marked by a ceremonial event attended by representatives of the Halk Maslahaty, heads of ministries and agencies, law enforcement officials, local authorities, public organizations, as well as respected elders, honored mothers, and youth.
The development of the city’s infrastructure continues as part of a large-scale program implemented under the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan.
