Suicide is a crime. Neither any religion nor any secular law allows it though there is an hospital named Dignitas in Switzerland which has been for quite sometime now assisting those who want to die through a system which has the approval of Swiss government and its law. The system works as under:
If a person who is suffering from a terminal disease and stands not even one percent chance of survival and is fed up with the bed ridden life or due to death of his or her next of kin and friends is victim of depression knocks at the door of this Swiss hospital, deposits in advance hospital fee plus expenditure to be incurred on his coffin and burial. He is given a tasty glass of juice as a result of which he goes to sleep and becomes unconscious after which an injection is given to him which takes his life. Since quite a big number of such persons started visiting Dignitas for the purpose from Europe. France and England have been toying with the idea of allowing so to hospitals in England and France like the
above-mentioned Swiss hospital to assist persons wanted to join the great majority for which necessary legislation is under process in those countries.
