Baku: Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has had a telephone conversation with his UAE counterpart Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The sides discussed the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Partnership and other agreements signed during the official visit of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Azerbaijan. They also deliberated on regional and international issues.
The two exchanged views on cooperation with UAE`s Presidency for COP28 as part of the preparatory process for Azerbaijan’s presidency and hosting of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
During the conversation, the parties also discussed cooperation on other international platforms.
