ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT): Secretary General of UBG, Zafar Bakhtawari, said that the trader community of Islamabad has always been a shining example of sacrifice, hard work, and unity. For years, the representatives of the business community have struggled for the resolution of their issues and for the rights of their fellow traders, and this very struggle has today given a new identity to the markets and commercial centers of Islamabad.
He was addressing a dinner hosted at his residence in honor of representatives of the trader community. Zafar Bakhtawari said that today he had brought together those representatives of Islamabad’s business community who, for years, have been making sacrifices for traders. Their struggle and services will always be remembered. He said he has also taught his children the values of public service, social interaction, respect, and goodwill towards others. He added that through hard work he created his own brand and introduced a new shopping culture in Islamabad. “Feeding people is the easiest way to win hearts. My wife has played a vital role in my successes, and the good upbringing of our children is also due to her. It is important to acknowledge the role of one’s life partner. Everyone must begin their own self-reform first. Honesty in business turns you into a brand. If business is conducted with integrity, future generations will also reap its benefits.”
President All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajiran, Ajmal Baloch, said that the unity, hard work, and struggle of the trader community will always be remembered. He added that Zafar Bakhtawari united the traders of Islamabad and provided a new direction for the business community, and his services will always remain part of history. He emphasized that solving the problems of the business community is their top priority, and for this, unity is the need of the hour.
President F-6 Markaz, Shehzad Shabbir Abbasi, and Syed Altaf Shah said that Zafar Bakhtawari’s leadership has encouraged the traders of Islamabad, and he has always been at the forefront in resolving their issues. Chairman Small Chamber & Small Industry, Saqib Abbasi, and President G-7 Markaz, Syed Altaf Hussain Shah, said that Zafar Bakhtawari has given a new identity to Islamabad’s business community.
Chaudhry Zafar Iqbal Gujjar said that to strengthen the unity of the business community, all of us must play our role. ICCI Executive Members Tahir Ayub, Chaudhry Irfan Gujjar, Aamir Raheem Qureshi, and other trader leaders and office bearers present at the ceremony also stressed that the true voice of the traders needs to be raised.
