The documents reflect Turkmenistan’s broad interests and its commitment to deepening international cooperation, according to ORIENT.

Turkmenistan’s Minister of Finance and Economy, Mammedguly Astanagulov, and the World Bank’s Country Manager for Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, Andrei Mikhnev, signed an agreement on the provision of a Pandemic Fund grant. The agreement supports the implementation of the regional “One Health in Central Asia” project, which aims to strengthen food systems and ecosystem protection.

The Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan signed a memorandum of understanding with Primetals Technologies Austria GmbH. Minister Toyguly Nurov and Andreas Lemp, Senior Vice President of the company, signed the document. Primetals’ Innovation Center, part of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, will bring advanced metallurgical technologies to Turkmenistan under the partnership.

Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, Azat Nazarov, and President of the West London Chamber of Commerce, Christopher Durkin, signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at giving Turkmen companies access to global markets through the WLCC’s partner network.

Another memorandum was signed between the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan and the World Free Zones Organization (World FZO). The agreement, signed by Minister Astanagulov and World FZO’s Regional Director Yerbol Bukharbayev, focuses on the development of free economic zones and the expansion of international cooperation.

The agreements signed at TIF 2025 demonstrate the multi-vector and pragmatic nature of Turkmenistan’s foreign economic policy, which encompasses healthcare, industry, trade, and the development of economic zones.

The Turkmenistan Investment Forum 2025 is taking place in the Avaza National Tourist Zone from September 18–19, 2025.
