RIYADH ( WNAM MONITORING): Saudi Arabia’s cabinet on Tuesday reiterated its support for the Board of Peace initiative in Gaza, describing it as a transitional mechanism aimed at ending the conflict and facilitating reconstruction in the Gaza Strip.
The position was outlined during a cabinet meeting chaired in Riyadh by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Ministers reviewed regional and international developments, with a focus on efforts to restore security and stability in the region.
The crown prince briefed the cabinet on a message he received from Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa regarding bilateral relations between the two countries.
Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dossari said the cabinet also discussed Saudi Arabia’s participation in the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos.
The cabinet welcomed Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the World Economic Forum’s international meeting on cooperation and growth on April 22–23, which is expected to bring together developed and developing economies to address shared global challenges.
Ministers also reviewed the outcomes of the third International Labor Market Conference held in Riyadh under the patronage of King Salman, including agreements and memoranda of understanding focused on workforce development, the use of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence, and the creation of more sustainable labor systems.
