Islamabad ( WNAM REPORT): Chairman Youth Committee ICCI, Engineer Usman Nawaz Basra, while appreciating Pakistan’s active diplomatic efforts to end the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict and its potential key role in promoting peace, stated that Pakistan holds a unique position in the international community as a responsible Islamic and nuclear power and can play an effective role in mediation.
He emphasized that Pakistan should raise its voice more strongly on platforms such as the OIC and the United Nations. He noted that rising tensions in the Middle East are not only causing a humanitarian crisis but are also having serious repercussions on the global economy.
He further said that fluctuations in oil prices, disruption of trade routes, and a decline in investment are posing major challenges for developing countries, including Pakistan. He added that if peace is established in the region, it will not only boost global trade but will also bring positive outcomes for Pakistan in terms of exports, investment, and the energy sector.
