WNAM REPORT: President Tufan Erhürman met with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. The meeting held within the framework of the Forum involved an exchange of views on advancing relations between the countries. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev reaffirmed that Azerbaijan will continue to stand by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, emphasizing that this support will be sustained in the period ahead.During the meeting President Aliyev congratulated President Erhürman and reiterated Azerbaijan’s support for the TRNC. The discussion also addressed opportunities for cooperation across a range of areas.
The meeting was attended by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ceyhun Bayramov, and Assistant to the President Hikmet Hajiyev.
President Erhürman was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Undersecretary to the Presidency Mehmet Dânâ, and Advisor for Diplomacy and Foreign Relations İpek Borman.
President Tufan Erhürman also held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, Kubanychbek Ömüraliyev, on the margins of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. The meeting focused on relations with the Organization of Turkic States, including an exchange of views on prospects for the upcoming period.
President Erhürman was accompanied by Undersecretary to the Presidency Mehmet Dânâ, Chief of Staff Mustafa Ergüven, and Advisor for Diplomacy and Foreign Relations İpek Borman.
