Green Card becomes more elusive

Getting American green card before the nine eleven episode wasn’t as much difficult as it is today. Stringent pre conditions were laid on its aspirants after its occurrence. Much water has since flowed down the Potomac river bridge and things have been made more difficult by Washington for those who want to settle in the land of opportunities and make America their permanent abode. The American legislators are now toying with the idea of putting the applications of aspirants of Green Card to in-depth scrutiny. Those of them nursing hatred against Zionists and are votaries of creation of separate Palestinian state will now stand no chance whatever of getting green card. The great hold of Zionists over American establishment has never been in doubt but lately this has increased by leaps and bounds.

POST SCRIPT

Any immediate breakthrough in the deadlock of America-Iran talks to end their imbroglio seems to be a far cry.
Both the warring parties are still hawkish in their attitude giving no room to the doves in their ranks to move forward and rid their countries of this self destructive egoistic war. Washington should realise that it stands to gain nothing from this war which is going to drive more wedge in its relationship with Muslim countries of the world. The men of the cloth at the helm of affairs in Tehran shouldn’t lose of the fact that Iran is militarily no patch on Pentagon. A face saving peace formula is, therefore, needed to be hammered out for both these countries by the mediators who have taken an onerous and difficult and thankless task upon their shoulders.
