(WNAM Monitoring): The Ministry of Digital Technologies and IT Park organized the Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference in Dubai. The Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov opened the event. The event’s primary goal is to familiarize foreign businesspeople with the conditions created by the state in the IT field.
It was noted that the International Center for Digital Technologies has been created in Uzbekistan. As an experiment, the center has introduced a special legal regime for foreign companies for five years starting from June 1, 2024.
The event was attended by representatives of 57 companies in the UAE and the Middle East working in the ICT sector, particularly Kanoo Group, Amity Group, and IDA Ireland. They noted that the government of Uzbekistan is taking large-scale measures to support business. An opinion was expressed about the potential of Uzbekistan youth and the International Center for Digital Technologies, which is planned to be created on the territory of the IT Park.
Meetings were organized in B2B format between 7 IT Park residents wishing to increase their export potential and company executives interested in their services.
All participants were invited to the Outsourcing Tour, which will be held in Tashkent and Samarkand in March this year.
