(WNAM Monitoring): Austria allocates €21.5 million from the Disaster Relief Fund for humanitarian aid in various parts of the world, Report informs with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
Of this, €2 million will be provided for humanitarian projects in Ukraine, according to the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the press service of the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, global humanitarian crises caused by wars, poverty, migration, and advancing climate change pose a significant threat to the lives of millions of people.
In 2023, Vienna agreed to allocate an additional €18 million to Ukraine to aid those affected by Russian aggression.
