ISLAMABAD (WNAMREPOR): To promote financial and agricultural awareness among people, the Zarai Taraqiati Bank has decided to organize financial fairs in the country. In this regard, a big financial awareness fair was held in the rural area of Tarnol, Islamabad, in which a large number of women participated. The fair was attended by President/CEO Tahir Yaqub Bhatti, Members of the National Assembly Anjum Aqeel Khan and Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Chairman HEC, and Executive Director NUTECH.
President ZTBL Tahir Yaqub Bhatti said that financial awareness is the need of the hour in the country. Women can earn a living while sitting at home, and the bank has various schemes for this purpose. He said that the bank is promoting financial awareness across the country under the name “Zarai Baithak” and this is the reason why the State Bank of Pakistan has awarded the bank a special prize for financial promotion. Tahir Bhatti said that the bank is not only promoting agriculture but also providing all banking facilities through its over 500 branches. Men and women showed interest in the bank’s schemes during the fair. The kitchen gardening stall was appreciated.”
