(WNAM): The Test squad from Pakistan has commenced their much-anticipated tour to Australia, gearing up for an exhilarating series of matches down under.
The Men in Green initiated their journey in preparation for the first Test scheduled to kick off on December 14 in Perth.
Ahead of the Test series, Pakistan is slated to engage in a fixture against the Prime Minister’s XI from December 6 to December 9 at Manuka Oval in Canberra.
The opposition, led by Aussie batter Nathan McSweeney, comprises formidable players including Cameron Bancroft, Cameron Green, Marcus Harris, Nathan McAndrew, Todd Murphy, among others.
The national team’s inaugural Test in Perth on December 14 will be followed by the second test match scheduled in Melbourne starting from December 26. The tour will conclude with the third Test set to take place in Sydney from January 3.
Notably, Shan Masood assumes the captaincy, marking his maiden leadership stint for the Pakistani team in a historic move.
