WNAM MONITORING: The Third International Coffee and Tea Festival is taking place in the Blue Domes Alley Park in the center of Tashkent, where local and foreign enterprises are presenting their products.
According to Shakhzod Ernazarov, Head of the Yakkasaray district Culture and Tourism Department, the festival aims to organize dialogue and establish cooperation between local and foreign participants.
“An important part of this cultural event is the demonstration of the peculiarities of coffee and tea ceremonies of different peoples and the promotion of Uzbek tea drinking traditions. The national handicrafts products are also widely represented here”, said Sh.Ernazarov.
Representatives of Toza Company are also participating in the festival. According to the marketing department’s specialist, Jakhongir Talatov, the company started operating in 1998 and became the first to operate in this field in Uzbekistan.
“Over the past years, we have studied the field, gained experience, and expanded our capabilities. We are engaged in packaging black, green, and fruit tea of more than 200 types. We sell our products in Uzbekistan and export them to Russia, Korea, Tajikistan, and the United States. We intend to demonstrate our product range in Türkiye and Belarus in a short time.
Our company employs 200 people. At the exhibitions in Uzbekistan, our tea products have been repeatedly recognized as “The best product in Uzbekistan”, said J.Talatov.
Several different events are expected to take place during the three-day festival.
