KABUL: Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, held a significant meeting with Aziz Durani, Head of CGCI Company Balochistan, Iran, in his office to discuss potential cooperation and developments in the mining and petroleum sectors.
In this meeting, both sides discussed the available investment opportunities in Afghanistan’s mineral resources and the overall security and conducive environment for investment in the country.
The head of aforementioned Company outlined the activities and expressed interest in investing in the oil sector and establishing a standard oil refinery. Acting Minister Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar welcomed this interest and promised full cooperation and facilitation for foreign investments in Afghanistan.
