WNAM MONITORING: The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, ordering that the Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan be given the status of an international scientific and technological park and called the International Scientific and Technological Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
The Academy of Sciences prescribed:
- Develop and, in accordance with the established procedure, approve the Regulations on the International Science and Technology Park;
- Together with the Ministry of Adalat, within a month, prepare and submit to the Cabinet of Ministers proposals for introducing changes and additions to the legislation arising from this Resolution.
This status was assigned in order to significantly increase the role of the Center of Technology of the Academy of Sciences in the structure of the economy, as well as to ensure the competitiveness of scientific achievements, the comprehensive development of scientific research, achieving the active participation of small and medium-sized businesses in innovative projects, organizing the production of innovative products in accordance with the Law “On
Scientific and Technological parks.
